How can I make the parent element of a dropdown menu clickable?

By default, WordPress blocks the option to add a link when a menu item functions as a dropdown parent. In GREYD.SUITE we offer a dedicated option to prevent this default behaviour:

Create your WordPress menu as usual. In the detailed settings of each menu item you will now find the option “In Navigation: Do not remove link despite sub-items”.

Why can’t I find my Post Type in the search module?

To integrate Dynamic Post Types in frontend searches, you must activate the corresponding function in your Dynamic Post Type settings. You will find it in your Dynamic Post Type under “Post Architecture”.

My post type is not displayed anymore?

Did you change the name of your post type or other important elements such as categories or tags after implementing it in modules like the post overview or search module? Just open the respective modules, if necessary re-select the post type and save your page.

Why can’t I see and fill certain elements of my Dynamic Template?

Please make sure to give a unique name to each element, also when copying elements in a template. If two elements have the same name, they will automatically be filled with the same content and will only appear once in the template block. This makes it much easier to copy elements in order to style your template responsively without having to enter each content several times. Lear more about it in our Dynamic Templates video.

Can I change a template later even when the content has already been entered?

Yes, you can change your template without loosing your content. Just take care that the elements in your new template have exactly the same names as in your old template. Learn more about it in our Dynamic Templates video.

Why are my changes to the footer template not applied?

Please check your Customizer settings under Navigation > Footer. There, you can define whether to activate the footer and how you want it filled. Instead of the footer template you can for example also show the main menu. If you’ve selected this option or even disabled the footer, your template settings cannot be shown.
